We pulled the top 500 returning cross country rankings from events run at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina. The venue hosts three major meets from the Southeast Region with the adidas XC Challenge, Great American XC Festival and Nike Cross Southeast Regionals. It was also the home to the NCISAA State Championships in 2024, which will be at McAlpine in 2025, as well as a hub for regional and conference championship meets. WakeMed features a downhill start to make for a quick first mile, but you ascend the 600m hill twice with one being just after 1 Mile and the other to the finish line. With the fast start and rolling hills on the back part of the course it still generates some of the fastest times in the Southeast Region every year.
