#22 Jacob Wells
Jacob Wells had a big breakthrough last season for Broughton running 15:55 and making the varsity squad for the first time. Wells came up big at the state meet for the Capitals taking 12th overall and was a big reason why they won the state title by one point. Now Wells returns as a veteran with a lot more XC experience. On the track Wells didn't race much, but clocked a 4:34 for the 1600. He showed he was back in good cross country shape at Wake County Kickoff where he took 6th overall. Wells should be in for a big senior year as he looks to lead Broughton to great team success.
