#13 Dakota Mendenhall
Dakota Mendenhall has come up just short many times on winning a NCHSAA 2A State Title losing a few battles narrowly with Noah Graham indoors, outdoors and in XC. Now Mendenhall returns as the favorite for 2A in the distance events this season, but their are plenty of talented guys moving down from 3A to 2A that'll be in the mix. He holds an XC PR of 15:58 after running 16:23 his sophomore year. He was runner up in cross country, the indoor 1600, and outdoor 1600 while also taking 4th in the 800. He does hold a 3200 PR of 9:37 as well as a full Mile PR of 4:21.92. Is this going to be Mendenhall's year to dominate the 2A distance scene?
