#14 Michael Moerk
Last season things came together for Michael Moerk who improved from a 16:23 down to a 15:58 5K PR. More importantly he dropped 45 places at the state meet going from 55th to 10th. On the track he ran 4:19 for the full Mile and 1:58 for the 800. He unfortunately came up injured for the indoor and the outdoor state meet, though it isn't anything that was too long term. Moerk should be one of the top boys in 3A this season as they'll need a strong season from him if they want to hold off Chapel Hill and Weddington.
