#21 Brandon Hernandez
The A.L. Brown senior Brandon Hernandez proved last year that he was a very underrated runner. After battling injury his sophomore year he was able to bounce back for a strong junior season running 16:10 and taking 15th at the 4A State Championship. On the track Hernandez didn't run many big races, but ran PRs of 9:39 for 3200 and 4:27 for the 1600. Indoors Hernandez was 6th overall in the 1600 and 11th outdoors. Hernandez is in for a big season and after moving down to 3A this season he should be in the mix for a top 5 spot.
