Mollie Williams had the breakout performance of the meet, while Wakefield and Knightdale continued their winning traditions.
Jon Beyle (East Chapel Hill) looks to become a double-winner in the throws, with his sights set on the state lead in both.
Wakefield's girls may not have looked as dominant as expected in their regional, but they are still heavy favorites to repeat as champions.
The Knightdale boys have the edge, especially based on regional marks, but could be in a three-team battle for the title.
