End of August Cross Country Boys' Rankings

Providence XC Invitational gave us seven of the top 10 times in August. Zack Gilbertson (Pinecrest) and Caden Townshend's (Wedddington) early season battle for the win led them to NC No. 1 and No. 2 times. Gabriel Schmid ran 16:01 at the 2022 Early Bird Challenge at WakeMed. The word around the state is a lot of the top programs and athletes are making their 5,000m debut next week at Friday Night Lights at Ivey Redmon Park in Kernersville, NC.
