Vogel had an awesome freshman year for Green Hope running a 5K PR of 18:49 and taking 14th overall at the NCHSAA 4A State Championships. Vogel certainly seems to be stronger in XC than track, but was fantastic on the track as well running 5:25 and 11:21. Her 11:21 placed her 7th overall at the NCHSAA 4A Outdoor State Championships. Vogel has proved that she's likely the Falcon's next XC superstar, but will this be the year she has a breakthrough in XC?
