#19 Elise Wright
Elise Wright may be a little better on the track than she is in XC, but she's still no joke on the cross country course. Wright was awesome on the track last fall running 2:13.63 for the 800 and 5:15 in the 1600. Wright took 2nd indoors in the 1000 running 3:02.32 and 3rd outdoors in the 800. Wright also was the 4A West Regional Champion in XC last fall and holds a PR of 18:50. She went on to take 16th at the state meet for 4A. Wright moves down to 3A this fall and will be one of the top individuals this season. 3A is loaded with strong girls this fall, but I think Wright is certainly in the mix for one of the top spots at the state meet this season.
