Great American Cross Country Festival- Middle School
The Great American XC Festival Presented by Garmin inaugural middle school competition will be held Friday, October 6 at the WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary N.C. This new division has been added to the granddaddy of all the interstate in season cross country invitationals, The Great American XC Festival, Presented by Garmin which is scheduled for Saturday, October 7 at the WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C.
The WakeMed MS course will be 3k in length and will be on one of the fastest courses in the nation.
It will also provide a preview to the Nike Cross Southeast Regional that will be run on Saturday, November 25.

Entry Fees:
$50.00 per team of up to 10 athletes
$15.00 per individual athlete
$125.00 (unlimited athletes, both genders)
Entry Deadline:
All entries are due by October 1 at 6pm ET.

12:00pm- 4:00pmCourse open walk thrus and warm-up
4:15pm MS Girls(3200m)
4:40pm MS Boys(3200m)
5:00pm HBCU Women(5K)
5:30pm HBCU Men(8k)
Awards Ceremonies
Awards ceremonies will take place approximately 15 minutes following the conclusion of each race at the awards area.
MS Races
Trophy to team champion in the boys and girl's race
Medals will be awarded to the top 10 finishers
Top finisher t-shirts to top 10 individuals
Packet Pick-up:
**ALL PACKETS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED ON SITE AT WAKE MED SOCCER PARK.

Retail Sales:
Nike apparel will be for sale on course run thru day and meet day.

Bib Number/Timing Chip:
Timing chips will be attached to each athlete's bib number. Athletes must wear assign bib number.
Box Assignments:
Box number assignments will be included in the packets and will be available at check in. They will also be available at NationalScholastic.org.
Results:
Results will be available on RunnerSpace.com, AthleticNet and NationalScholastic.org
Spectator Admission:
Admission is free, parking is $10.00, CASH ONLY, per vehicle entering the park.
Parking will be free of charge on Friday.
Beverage:
Bottles of Gatorade and water will be available to athletes on site.
Medical
Certified trainers will be on site at all times when the course is open.
Lost and Found:
Any lost and found items can be picked up at the packet pick up area at the course.
