ENTRIES - We prefer athletes compete for their middle school if possible. We know not all middle schools are allowed to travel outside of the county for middle school sports and want to give those athletes an opportunity to compete. Those athletes will be allowed to enter unattached, however, those athletes will not be eligible to score points for team scoring purposes. If you are looking to enter your middle school team together but not under the school name, you can find instructions on how to do so at the bottom of this page.
Relays will be limited to athletes from the same Middle School. So that portion of the meet will only be open to schools and not clubs unless it is a club team made up of athletes from the same Middle School team. These are set up as separate divisions from individual events in our online entry, so make sure you enter both for both genders so these events show.
Teams will be limited to a max of four athletes per event. We want to cater to as many athletes as possible and will determine at a later date if we need to have a maximum amount of accepted entries in events once we have a better idea of how many teams will be attending.
Reach out to jason.creasy11@gmail.com with any questions about the event or to make sure your athlete's results are in our database for entries.
Entry Fees: Athletes are capped at competing in 4 events, including relays. The cost is $5 per athlete per entry to attend the meet through MileSplit's Online Entry. We will cap schools entry fees at $200.
We will offer a free version of this meet in cross country at Ivey Redmon Sports Complex on October 21st called the NCRunners Middle School XC Festival. This event is unlimited entries and we'll run as many 2 Mile races as we get entries for.
