Championship/Varsity Race Starting Boxes
Will be free of charge for any middle school, club, or unattached individual from North Carolina!
Will run the 2 Mile course at Ivey Redmon Sports Complex. Will hold varsity level races as well as a JV race for non-varsity athletes. Will be a fun racing environment for middle school cross country programs and athletes to end their season on competing at the NCHSAA State Championship Cross Country course!
Open to Middle Schools, Clubs, and Unattached Runners in grades 6 through 8 and is open to runners of all abilities! Elementary schoolers are allowed to compete in the 6th-grade race as long as you deem they will be competitive over the 2 Mile distance.
Registration
Online Registration will be open through Sunday, October 15th at 10 PM EST. Schools can enter 7 athletes in the Varsity race and unlimited athletes in the grade-level races. We may have multiple varsity-level races that we will have to seed depending on how many schools plan to compete. We will keep that information updated as we get closer to the event date.
Late Entry - email jason.creasy11@gmail.com ahead of Thursday if you missed the registration deadline
You will be able to change who is in the Varsity race for your school after registration ends as long as you have athletes entered to be in that race. We have Varsity, 6th Grade, 7th Grade and 8th Grade as events to register for. Due to meet size we have combined the grade level races into one combined JV race. The grade level races will serve as fields for the non-top 7 runners per school/club. If we have to have multiple varsity-level races, (Seeded & Invitational) we will seed the two based off 2023 results as fairly as we can.
