REGISTRATION -Online registration will close on Monday, May 24th at Midnight. We will release accepted entries on Tuesday. We will have more entries than what is accepted in some events, so make sure you're getting results in so your athletes have seed times. Athletes entered without a seed mark will be not be accepted if the entries exceed the max entries in the event listed below.
MEET SCHEDULE - TENTATIVE
Gates open for early arrival at 7:45am
Coaches report to finishing tent at 8:20 amsharp for instructions, and to report scratches and necessary relay changes;no individual additions
Volunteer meeting to review assignments at 8:30am
First Race at 9:00am- rolling schedule thereafter
Field Start at 9:00am- open pit style, events will be open to entered girls/boys from10am - 1pm; athletes complete events as they are able

ENTRIES -Since most middle schools are having spring sports or outdoor track this year, we are allowing athletes to enter unattached and will not be keeping team scores as most schools are not in season. If your school allows you to compete as a team, you are able to enter as so. We usually each event at a certain point. Due to lack of racing opportunities at the middle school level for the last year, we have decided to accept all entries for 2021.

Entry Fees: Athletes are capped at competing in 4 events, including relays. Cost is $5 per athlete to attend the meet regardless if you are doing 1 event or 4 events through PayPal in MileSplit's online entry. Online payment must be completed by May 24th or athletes will be removed from entry lists.
Bibs: Each athlete will get bibs with their last name across to wear during the event.
FIELD EVENT SCHEDULE- we will use an "open pit" for field events. Each will be open continuously for 3-hours, from10AM-1PM; athletes complete events between running events
GATE FEES/CONCESSIONS- athletes/coaches admitted free. The spectator gate fee is $5.
North Carolina COVID Restrictions
- Lifts all mandatory capacity and gathering limits
- Lifts all social distancing requirements
- Lifts mandatory mask requirements for most indoor and outdoor settings, excluding, public transportation, child care, schools, prisons and certain public health settings
WATER: Teams and athletes will need to bring their own water for the day. We may have some available on site, but water coolers was something we felt wouldn't be safe for social distancing and safety purposes at event.
