Meet Information
Payment of Entry Fees
- We are trying to be as close to contact-free
as possible during the meet, which includes taking NO CASH and reducing the
number of checks we collect. - Individual athletes must pay the entry fee
online (see below for instructions). No more checks will be accepted for
individual athletes. Individuals will be removed from the entries if fees are
not paid by Friday 10/9. - To pay online, go to the meet page and click
on the Register Online button, then View/Edit your registration. - From the registration page, click on the Make
Payment button. - If you have a PayPal account, you can also pay
directly to ncmilesplit@gmail.com. - Teams will be allowed to pay by check at the
meet, but PayPal is preferred.

Athlete and Coach Instructions
- Masks are required for all coaches, as well as
athletes when they are not warming up or competing. - Athletes can arrive NO MORE THAN ONE HOUR
BEFORE RACE TIME to reduce the
accumulation of people in the park. - Parking will be in the grass field at the
intersection of Shields Rd and Beeson Rd. This includes bus parking.
ONLY OFFICIALS CAN DRIVE INTO THE PARK unless you are working the start or
finish line. - There will be baseball/softball in the lower
part of the park (if not canceled for rain). All cross country participants
must stay in the upper part of the park, spaced out on the fields. - Athletes only in the starting field. Report to the starting line at least 15
minutes before race time. You may complete your warm-up there. - Coaches can be on the road between the start
and finish area, or behind the start area. No coaches in the finish
area, including where the finish chute lets out. - Do not linger in the finish area - athletes must move back to the fields
immediately upon the conclusion of the race. - We will have a trainer on site if needed.
- We will not provide water - bring your own.
- There are no awards at this meet.
- You must depart from the park in a reasonable
time frame after your race. Coaches with
athletes in seeded and open races may remain between races, but large teams may
have to leave (depending on the number of people on each field). - Porta-Johns will be available. We recommend
you bring your own hand sanitizer and wear masks when using them.

remain in the park between races, unless the overall capacity of the park is
reached. - Porta-Johns will be available. We
recommend you bring your own hand sanitizer and wear masks when using them.
Meet Details:
- Races every 30 minutes, girls and boys simultaneously, no more than 50 athletes per race.
- Up to 15 races: first race at 9:00 and last race at 4:30.
- Twelve 5K races, three 2 Mile races (may be adjusted based on entry numbers).
- NCISAA schools, club teams, and individuals can register.
- Results from all races will be compiled into overall results, and also separate Frosh-Soph results.
COVID-19 Restrictions:
- No more than 50 athletes in the start/finish area at a time.
- Spectators are restricted to the two upper field.
- Maximum of one spectator per athlete (whether a coach or parent).
- Spectators required to wear masks at all times; athletes wear masks when not warming up or competing.
- Parking on the field above the park, walk to the facility.
- Packet pick-up at the entrance to the facility.
- No cross country athletes in the lower part of the park.
Entry Details:
- $15 entry fee per athlete, paid in advance (online through PayPal or by check received before meet)
- $300 maximum fee for teams (schools or clubs)
- NCISAA schools can enter normally.
- NCHSAA schools will be changed to club teams, or can register athletes individually.
- Unattached athletes can register individually.

11:30 - Open 5K race (boys and girls simultaneously)
12:00 - Open 5K race (boys and girls simultaneously)

1:00 - Open 3200 (boys and girls simultaneously)
1:30 - Open 5K race (boys and girls simultaneously)
2:00 - Open 5K race (boys and girls simultaneously)

3:00 - SEEDED BOYS 5K race (second 50 entries)
