Despite a disappointing end to the 2013 season and a coaching change, the Raiders still have the talent to succeed in 2014.

Normally, the loss of an iconic coach like Chris Catton would mean a drop in the rankings. Reagan, however, got an excellent replacement in Eric Fritz, and they have a solid group of guys back to try to uphold the integrity of a program that has been among the state's best over the last several years. Graduation hit hard, but the depth is still strong through 6 runners, and there were signs of improvement in the spring. The Raiders left the 2013 fall season with unfinished business, having failed to advance to the state meet for the first time since 2008, which should be potent motivation over the summer. Speaking of summer, Reagan has been one of the best in the state at improving year-to-year over the last 5 school years.
