Meet Information




Come compete in the 2nd Annual J. Alan Peoples Invitational.
- This will be a Saturday meet, beginning at 10:15am.  A Schedule will be posted soon.
- $60 per gender team or $100 per school.
- A Password is required - Contact J. Alan Peoples 828-817-1594.  The anticipated cap is 30 teams.
- 1 relay per school, 3 athletes per field or running event.
- This year, there will be a 1-mile run contested, in addition to the 1600m.  There will be a minimum time required. 3 entries per school.  The total entrants will be capped at 12 for each gender.
- A lunch break will be provided for workers and officials - steak, potato salad, green beans, and desert.  A limited number of meals will be available for purchase by those who choose not to work.
- The winner of each event will receive a plaque (relays will receive four).
- The top 3 finishers will receive medals.
- The deadline for entries will be on March 31 at 6pm.  However, a Performance List will be produced on March 26 for inclusion in a program.  Changes or additions will be permitted until the deadline on Friday, but will not be included in the program.
