WHAT? The 16th Annual Jungle Run Cross Country Meet: The most talked about early season meet in North Carolina. Come see what all the "hub-bub" is about! Enjoy high school cross country in a Friday night lights atmosphere.

6:15pm Developmental/JV Boys (unlimited entries)
6:55pm Developmental/JV Girls (unlimited entries)
7:40pm Invitational Men's Race (UP TO 10 only)
8:15pm Invitational Women's Race (UP TO 10 only)
9:00pm Championship Men's Race (UP TO 10 only)
9:40pm Championship Women's Race (UP TO 10 only)
10:15pm Awards Ceremony in Football Stadium
HOW MUCH? Single gender teams are $100; $150 for both men's and women's teams. Checks should be made payable to South View High School. Entry is $20 for individuals who do not comprise a complete team. An individual must still represent their school. A team is five or more same gender runners from the same school.
TIMING: For the fourth straight year, we will be using chip timing provided by Big Kahuna Timing!!!
PRIVATE SCHOOLS: Great news for private schools!!! You may compete!!! We look forward to getting more and more private schools competing.
TEAM ENTRY: The entry process is open at NCRunners.com and must be completed by Tuesday, August 30, 11:59PM. Go to NCRunners.com and click on the "CALENDAR" link. Scroll down to the Jungle Run and click the "ONLINE ENTRY" button.
Individuals may enter the high school meet, provided they are a member of their high school team. A coach must enter them online. Individual entry is $20.00. Please email Coach Autry directly to inform him of your intention to participate as an individual.
Five same-gender individuals from the same school become a team. Coaches need to email Jesse Autry to declare which races they wish their varsity squads to participate: Championship or Invitational.
You may run a B-TEAM in the Invitational Race if you want to run three squads.
Teams must be a member of their public or private high school athletic association.
Please mail checks or alert us if you are planning on bringing it with you.
COURSE: Approximately 5,000 meters around and through the South View High School Athletic Complex. The
course will be lighted throughout. Splits will be called at every mile.
T-SHIRTS: Cool Invitational Shirts will be available for $15.
PARKING: $5.00 per car, truck, van, suv or whatever load.
AWARDS: Top 20 individuals in the Men's and Women's Championship Division; Top 20 in the Invitational Division.
Top 15 in JV/Developmental Division. The Top 3 Teams in all races will be awarded plaques.
RESULTS: Available online at NCRunners.com. and NCPreptrack.com.
HOTELS: Because of the uniqueness of this event, it may be more practical to spend the night AFTER the race instead of the night before.
