Mollie Williams moved herself up in the North Carolina All-Time Rankings, and her summer isn't quite done yet.
The 7 foot high jumper Steven Dunbar of Tallwood popped a new personal best mark of 47'5" in the triple jump on day one of competition at Duke University for the Russell E. Blunt East Coast Invitational on Friday. Western Branch's Corey Jones was a winner in the men's 400 meter hurdles in only his second attempt at the event with a time of 55.29. Russell Blunt is one of the last tune-up meets before the USATF Junior Olympic National Championship meet, which will also be held in the state of North Carolina.
