Shaffer won the NCHSAA 4A East Regional in NC No. 8 17:52.82. She went on to place 4th at the NCHSAA 4A State Championship. She also won the Hare & Hounds Invitational and was 4th at Friday Night Lights. Her season best is NC Sophomore No. 1 on the season.
Miller was runner-up at the NCISAA 4A State XC Championship. She also picked up 3rd place finishes at both Hare & Hounds and Wilmington Beach Blast, on top of a 4th place finish at Union County Championships. Her personal best of 18:00.96 is NC Sophomore No. 2 this season.
A break-out season for Barton, she captured the NCISAA 2A State XC Championship. Her time of 18:28.30 from the state meet is NC Sophomore No. 4 on the season. She also got the win at the CAA Conference Championship. On top of those two wins, she was 9th at NCRunners Elite and 8th at Hare & Hounds.
When Shaffer went down to injury, Lazarczyk really stepped it up for Cardinal Gibbons. She ran a best of 18:02.00 at the MileStat.com XC Invitational in Virginia, leading Cardinal Gibbons to the team victory. She won the CAP 6 Conference Championship and placed 3rd at the NCHSAA 4A East Regional. She capped off her season with a 14th place finish at the NCHSAA 4A State Championship. Her best is NC No. 15 and NC Sophomore No. 3 on the season.
Kinlaw won the Metro 4A Conference Championship in 18:51.86. She ran 18:29.07 to win the Guilford County Championships. She also won the Hagan Stone XC Invitational, the adidas XC Invitational race, and was runner-up in the Friday Night Lights invitational race.
After an 8th place finish at the NCHSAA 3A West Regional, Houlihan took home 2nd at the NCHSAA 3A State Championship. She was also runner-up at the Mountain 7 Conference Championship. Her best of 18:31.00 is NC Sophomore No. 6 this season.
Fassinger placed 13 at both the NCHSAA 4A Midwest Regional and NCHSAA 4A State Championships. She also was 4th at the CPC Championship. At Hare & Hounds, she was runner-up in a personal best time of 18:33.10.
