The Wake Forest commit ran the second fastest time in Hagan Stone history, a 14:46 performance that saw him run away from the field and get the win. It was a great pre-states trial run for Hansen.
Caden Townshend (Weddington)
The Ole Miss commit took home the Union County Championship in NC No. 4 15:15.00. He ran a season best by .5 seconds, besting his 15:15.50 from adidas XC.
Zack Gilbertson (Pinecrest)
Gilbertson kept his strong season rolling. The senior clocked 15:31.67 to run away with the win at NCRunners Elite XC Invitational.
Gabriel Schmid (Orange)
The junior ran a personal best of 15:39.92 to take runner-up at the NCRunners Elite XC Invitational. He was 3rd at Hare & Hounds and 7th at Friday Night Lights earlier this year.
RJ Gajan (Marvin Ridge)
Ran a personal best of 15:32.00 to take runner-up at the Union County Championship on Thursday. It was his fifth sub 16:00 run of the season.
Dawson Reeves (Christ School)
Reeves was runner-up at the Hagan Stone XC Classic running 15:37.92. He clocked 15:03.23 last weekend at ASICS Invitational in Georgia.
