North Carolina Sophomore Leaderboard

Reagan sophomore Andrew Steele is first up on our weekly rising stars feature!

Steele has emerged as one of the best jumpers in the state this indoor season, and backed it up with a great weekend at VA Showcase.

Steele won the open boys long jump at VA Showcase soaring to a personal best, and NC No. 4 this season of 21-8.75. His mark is also good for NC No. 13 all-time for sophomores!

He currently sits NC No. 12 this season in the triple jump, but he has only competed in the event once this season in early December.

He is quick on the track as well, having clocked 36.88 in the 300m at JDL earlier this season, which is good for the 8th best time for sophomores this season in North Carolina!
