4. Amanda Kinloch and Akala Garrett go 2-6 in 60m Hurdles
Amanda Kinloch (RunU Xpress) and Akala Garrett (Harding/Purpose Driven) put on a show for Team NC in the 60m hurdles! In the opening prelims, Garrett ran 8.56 and 8.56 to qualify for the finals. Kinloch only got better with time, running 8.65 in the opening prelim and 8.57 in the semi-finals. She kept improving and busted out a huge PR of 8.46 in the championship finals to take 2nd place overall! Garrett did not disappoint either as she ran 8.51 which wa good for 6th place!
