The NCISAA 4A Division is loaded up front with some top-tier talent. Christian Landis (PDS) leads this field with the fastest personal best and is the runner-up from last season's NCISAA 4A State Meet. Kenny Eheman (Cary Academy) is right on his tail, however, looking to claim the empty throne atop NCISAA. Jay Shanahan (Durham Academy) is the third and final returner who dipped under 16:00 last fall. Although those three are the favorites, there has been almost a year of time since we have seen a lot of these athletes, and anything can happen. Bryson Mace (Covenant Day) is on the verge of sub 16:00 and will be a focal point of Covenant Day's team this season. Landis's teammate at PDS, Colter Nichols, has great sub 16:00 this potential as well, and has an elite teammate to chase this season. Rocky Hansen leads Christ School this season.
