1 Seed: Trentavis Friday (Cherryville)

Trentavis Friday was an easy call for the boys #1 overall seed with two state records in the 100m Dash and 200m Dash.  He broke J-Mee Samuel's 100m state record of 10.08 in 2014 clocking 10.00 and 20.03 in the 200m Dash.  Friday's 100m mark also broke the All-Conditions National Records in both the 100m and 200m Dash with those marks.

2 Seed: Gabby Mayo (Southeast Raleigh)

Mayo holds two North Carolina State Records with a 11.14 in the 100m Dash and 22.88 in the 200m Dash.  Her wind legal 100m Dash of 11.16 is .3 seconds better than any girl in state history and is US#9 All-Time.  She's also the only North Carolina girl under 23 seconds in the 200m and is US#13 All-Time as well.

3 Seed: Kayla Davis (Hough)

Davis took home the 400m State Record as a freshman at New Balance Outdoor Nationals running 51.17.  Her mark shattered the North Carolina State Record which was previously 52.74.  Her record should only get faster as she is a 2022 grad.  She is also NC#2 All-Time behind Mayo in the 200m at 23.08.

4 Seed: Connor Lane (Cardinal Gibbons)

Connor Lane broke Jake Hurysz 3200m state record at Arcadia in 2017 clocking 8:47.00.  He joined Hurysz in being one of two boys under 8:50 in the 3200m in state history and is one of 15 boys who have broken 9 minutes in North Carolina history.

5 Seed: Kamorean Hayes (Harding University)

Hayes is the only North Carolina girl to exceed 50 feet in the Shot Put with personal best of 52-6.5 indoors and 52-2 outdoors.  Hayes marks are good for US#9 All-Time Indoors as well as US#21 All-Time Outdoors.
