Melicia Mouzzon Versus Jonah Ross Girls 100m Dash
The NCHSAA 4A East Regional was an awesome battle between Melicia Mouzzon (Heritage) and Jonah Ross (Garner). Mouzzon edged Ross by .01 seconds clocking a NC No. 2 mark of 11.76 to Ross' 11.77. Last year at the state meet Ross edged Mouzzon by 11.84 to 11.87. With Mouzzon being a senior it'll be the final time we see the two square off in high school. Jahzara Hart (Southeast Raleigh) and Lia Love (Jordan) will also contend for the individual title, though Mouzzon and Ross will be the big favorites heading in.
