8 Standout Performances from the Powerade State Games!

Raymonte Dow (High Point Central/High Point Heat) is back to his preferred distance in the 400m Hurdles after an upsetting finish to his career at High Point Central where he was DQed at the regional meet.  After winning the outdoor 300m Hurdle title last season, Dow became dominant in the long hurdles getting down under 53 seconds.  Saturday Dow ran a new PR of 52.77, almost 2 seconds faster than his first 400m Hurdle event of they year at Bojangles Classic back in April.  I expect Dow to get down into the 51s at some point this summer, and I know he has goals of running 50 seconds this outdoor season before heading to Iowa in the fall.
