Jordan loses Justice Scott, 16:51 PR to graduation, but gains sophomore Daniel McAdams who ran 17:09 as a freshman.  So they already have a replacement for the one guy they lost from their 2015 squad.  They return a strong top three in Casey Thompson, Matthew Staehle, and Quinton Meyer.  All three are seniors and looking to end their cross country careers with a bang.  Staehle had the best track season where he ran 4:25 and 9:58 for 1600 and 3200 respectively.  But both Thompson and Meyer seem to have been injured or not at 100% last track season and both had limited racing. So hopefully they are healthy heading into the cross country season.

Daniel McAdams transferring is huge for Jordan's depth this season.  They have a slew of guys that are challenging to make the top 7 and he just makes the competition even tougher which is great for the team.  As a freshman at Riverside McAdams was able to run 4:47 for 1600 and 17:09 in XC.  He will be a big asset for Jordan over the next three years assuming the coach transition goes smoothly.

Samuel Terry-Edmunds is entering his junior season and holds a PR from his freshman year of 16:46.  He had a very strong year on the track running 4:39 for 1600 and should be able to surpass his freshman year XC form this season.  Jonathan Piccillo was also just a freshman last season and was strong on the track running 4:54.  He had a limited freshman XC season only running four races and ended his season in early October.  If Piccillo can come back in good shape and healthy he will be a big asset for Jordan this fall.  Kerwin De Paz-Donis and Tyler Dunston are also just going into their sophomore year. De Paz-Donis hardly raced during track season and Dunston was just above the 5 minute mark for 1600.  As this strong group of 4 sophomore mature over the summer and during the season their is a lot of potential for these guys to have a break out season.  Jordan could be a sleeper team this fall depending on how everyone comes out of the long summer training and if everyone stays healthy.
