Deadline:
The deadline for entries will be Tuesday, March 31 @ Noon
*The
meet will open on Jan. 7th, 2026 at Noon ( ALL PAPERWORK must be in at that
time as well.)
Entries: Only athletes
competing for their North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and
Georgia high schools can enter this meet. All teams must enter through
Milesplit at: ________________________. You must enter your team on Milesplit to
be entered in the meet. Please use accurate times/marks. The 2k steeplechase will
only have one section of the top 14 times.
Entry
Fee: The
entry fee will be $10 per athlete per event. $25 per relay. Entry fees will be
charged based on ENTRIES, not PARTICIPATION. Example: Angela Doe competes in
the 100m, 200m, and Long Jump. Her entry fee will be $30. All fees will be paid
online at milesplit.com.Each team will
be required to provide:
1. Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI)
2. Signature on Attestation form

Starting
Heights:
Girls
PV: Starts @ 8', then increase 6 inches.
Boys
PV: Starts @ 9', 10', then increases 6 inches.
Girls
HJ: Starts @ 4'2", then 4'6", then up 2" inches each time.
Boys
HJ: Starts @ 5', then 5'4", then up 2" inches each time.
Each
athlete will get FOUR attempts in the Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump, and Triple
Jump. There will be NO FINALS! The best flights will go last.
Check-In: Running
event athletes will check in 30 minutes prior to the start of the event at the
tent. Field event athletes will check in 30 minutes prior to the start of the
event at the event site.
Coaches
Meeting: There
will be a coaches' meeting at 9 am. Information and Heat/flight sheets will be
presented during this time.
Implements: Implement weigh-ins
will take place at the throws site. All implements must be checked in an hour
before the event starts in order to be used.
Athletic
Trainers:
A certified athletic trainer will be available for first-aid services only. If
an athletic trainer is unable to attend the meet with your team, you must send
a kit with supplies (tape, pre-wrap, band-aids). Ice will be available for
injuries that may happen.
Seeding: Seeding will be
decided by the games committee based on the number of entries. All running
events will be seeded fast to slow. Cancellation Policy: If a school cancels for a nonweatherrelated
reason after Monday, March 31, 2026, that school will still owe its entry
fee.
Results: Meet results will be
posted online at www,Timinginc.com and www.appstatesports.com
Spikes: Inch pyramids are
the only acceptable spikes. There will be a spike check tent and you must have
the correct color zip tie on your competition shoes.
Tape: Only athletic tape may be used as
markers for the jumps. NO chalk or any other tape allowed.
Parking: There will be lots of parking for
buses and spectators at the facility.
Awards: There will be awards for the
First-place team (boys and girls) and the Top 3 finishers in each event (boys
and girls).
