NCHSAA 2A East Regional 2025

We are excited to host this year's 2A East Regional Track & Field Championships at Kinston High School on Friday, May 9, 2025.  Pole Vault will be contested at Manteo High School.  Further information on the Pole Vault competition (date and time) is forthcoming.

Athletes will be running on a 8 Lane Rubberized Track.  We will take all Qualifying Standards and up to 16 entries per event. Please enter your athletes via milesplit.  Each school can enter up to three athletes per event. All wheelchair and amputee athletes are to be entered into milesplit into their respective events, as you would any normal body athlete.  Please email me the wheelchair or amputee athlete's name, school, and events separately ASAP.  The deadline for all entries is Saturday, May 3rd @ 9:00pm.

Team packets can be picked up outside the visitor's side entrance.  Coaches/ teams will enter the stadium via the visitor's side entrance as well.  The packets will have team wristbands of which must be worn at all times for entrance into the stadium by coaches and athletes. The packets will include wristbands for verified coaches and assistants, competing athletes and (2) alternates for each relay that you have entered for your team.  All other non-competing athletes and unverified coaches will have to pay at the gate. 

Bus parking for teams will be in a designated area in the back of the gym.

Only team coolers will be allowed in the stadium.

Concessions will be sold.  T-shirts will be sold.

Admission for spectators is $7.00- cash only!

Coaches, please email me a list of all of your assistant coaches names and your school's work preferences ASAP.  Otherwise, a work duty will be assigned to your school. Those coaches who work during the meet will be given access to the hospitality room located in the fieldhouse.
