Race Schedule for November 14, 2009

12:00N Collegiate Men 8K
200 pm Collegiate Awards Ceremony

This meet will be held annually one week after the NCHSAA state XC meet. Qualifying standards: Automatic qualifier: Boys- sub 17:00 5K, Girls- sub 20:00 5K(2009 X-C times only) All runners who qualified for their respective state's 2009 Outdoor State Track & Field Championship are also eligible to run in the first annual Meet of Champions. The meet is open to all North Carolina individuals (public & private school)and club or high school teams. We want to create a Championship atmosphere for every classification's top runners to race each other. Awards will be given to the top 2 teams and top 25 individuals for both boys & girls. Boys race at 2:30pm & Girls at 3:00pm. Guilford College's new course is a challenging but good mixture of all grass rolling well-groomed fields & trails. Great spectator course! It is the site of the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Regionals and the NC Middle School X-C Championships also on 11/14/09. Hosted by Guilford College. The cost for the meet is $20.00 per runner. Race day registration is available for an additional $10 per runner.
Their will be a Friday evening, Pasta dinner with guest speaker, 1964 Olympic Gold medalist, Billy Mills held on campus at Guilford College's Alumni
