NCHSAA 4A East Regional 2020

The course:

It is 5000 meters long and very spectator friendly. It is a combination of grass with a short dirt trail throughout the athletic fields and woods of Olsen Park . After the first 150 meters, runners will make a rounding right that will take them on a big loop in the field.  Athletes will then head to the other side of the course towards the first mile.  After passing the first mile, athletes will run the short woods section and come out just short of being back in the big field. The athletes will loop the field and complete the first loop again running through the woods and complete the course by doing one last 600 meter loop in the big field to the finish line.  Spectators will not be allowed in the big field that houses the start and finish line.  Spectators can move view the finish from behind the straining rope and move along the other side of the course.
