How Each NCHSAA Team State Champion Got The Job Done

NCHSAA 3A Boys - Franklin

Franklin may have had one of the more well rounded championship runs of the bunch. They scored points in every event group except the throws. They scored 28.5 in jumps, 17 in relays, 6 in sprints and distance, and 2 in hurdles. All those points were crucial in their 59.50-54-51 win over Dudley and Croatan.

They had three scorers in the pole vault, led by champion Blake Cassada. Adam Rogers and Aaron Jennings went 5-7 to top it off. Cal Drake earned two all-state honors in the jumps. He was runner-up in high jump and 4th in triple jump.

They were 3rd in both the 4x400m and 4x800m, to go along with a 4th place finish in the 4x200m.

Logan Russo doubled in the 800m and 1,600m, finishing 5th and 7th. Isaiah Roots was 4th in the 400m and Elijah Cochran was 7th in the 300m hurdles.
