NCHSAA 2A Girls - Cummings
Freshman superstar D'Anna Cotton had herself a busy day! She took home two wins in the field events on top of two all-state finishes on the track. She jumped 5-6 in high jump and 37-06.75 in triple jump. Brooke Packingham and Taylor Jordan finished 6th and 7th in the triple jump alongside Cotton. Packingham was also 3rd in long jump with teammate Diamond Moore, who finished runner-up.
Cotton, Jordan, and Packingham were all in the 100m hurdles. The trio finished 3-4-7. Jordan and Cotton doubled back in the 300m hurdles, where they finished 2-3.
In total, they scored 39 points in jumps and 27 points in the hurdles, giving them a 66 point total, and a team championship.
