How Each NCHSAA Team State Champion Got The Job Done


NCHSAA 3A Girls - Dudley

The Dudley girls ran away with the team title, securing the win with a 21 point margin to 2nd, and 35 point margin to 3rd. They dominated the sprints and hurdles, which led to success in the relays. 

Nilijah Darden finished 4th in the 100m and 5th in the 200m. Gabrielle Cheek joined her in the 200m, finishing 7th. Cheek doubled back in the 400m where she took 6th. Nathalya Daniels, also in the 400m, was 5th. 

Senadzi Rankin was runner-up in the 100m hurdles and Keianna Mims was 3rd in the 300m hurdles.

Tanzania Washington was on double duty, going 4th in the 100m hurdles and 7th in the 300m hurdles.

They sealed the deal with two runner-up finishes in the relays: 4x100m and 4x200m. They ended the day with a 3rd place finish in the 4x400m to put an exclamation point on their day.
