Watch Kenny Eheman Win His First NCISAA State Title

The 1600m field in the boys' NCISAA Division 1 state meet was one of the deepest fields of the weekend and was bound to give us some fire action! It did not disappoint.

Cary Academy's Kenny Eheman lined up next to Providence Day School's Colter Nichols, and Christian Landis, and Christ School's Dawson Reeves and Rocky Hansen

Landis had the fastest personal best of the bunch having ran 4:15 in late April. Eheman was right behind with a 4:17 at the TISAC Conference Championship where he was victorious.

In 2019 at the NCISAA state championship Eheman was 2nd in a wire-to-wire battle with Jason Krell.

Landis vs Eheman has turned into quite the rivalry in the NCISAA. Eheman held the lone victory over Landis on their one previous meeting on the track.

Eheman kicked down the final lap taking down a loaded field winning his first career NCISAA State Title! No more 2nd places for Eheman, he defends his home turf and can finally call himself an individual state champion!
