8. Colter Nichols Runs Tough 800/1000m Double
Colter Nichols (Providence Day School) has been staying on his A game even without official a lot of NCISAA competition. With a deadly 800m and 1000m double this weekend Nichols delivered in both events. Nichols ran a NC #21 All-Time 1000m mark of his 2:31.39 which got him 5th in the Championship 1000m. Later in the weekend Nichols had a chance to really dig under the 2:00 800m barrier. He managed to bust out a new PR of 1:57.12. Look out NC, we have a new mid-distance star on our hands!
