9. Emma Stone Clears 13'0 Again
Emma Stone (Marvin Ridge) was 2nd at the 2020 NCHSAA Indoor Track state meet in the pole vault, and due to COVID cancelling the indoor season, she did not have a chance to claim that gold. That did not stop her, however, from having arguably the best indoor season we have ever seen from a NC pole vaulter. Stone has cleared 13'0" in every competition this season including a 13'7" jump in January. On this day 13'1.5" was all Stone could clear which was good enough for a 6th place finish!
