For the first time, and likely only time, in her career Carmen Alder (Pinecrest) got to race alongside two of her sister: Vanessa (9th grade) and Lily (6th grade).

Vanessa finished 2nd overall in 5:08 and Lily was 6th in 5:36! The Alder family is going to be an elite force in North Carolina for some time!
