Hey everyone! My name is Tommy DeLaunay and I am excited to announce that I will be your new Editor of MileSplit North Carolina. Thank you to Jason Creasy for all his time with North Carolina and we wish him the best of luck as he transitions to Massachusetts.
A little about me, I graduated from Pinecrest High School in 2016 and am currently studying Communication Media at NC State University. Outside of running, I am a basketball referee and love watching the NBA.
I participated in Cross Country and Track & Field all throughout high school and was primarily a distance runner, but I did try pole vault. I started running competitively in 7th grade and found an instant passion for the sport.
I started working for MileSplit NC during my senior year of high school and the time has flown by since then! I helped Jason with videos, photos, and interviews! Having been around the sport in North Carolina for almost a decade I have seen some legendary performances and can't wait to see what the future brings.
