This Week's Nominees:
Kavi Gibson, Cary Academy (North Carolina): Swept all three distance events at the TISAC Championship, highlighted by a state-leading 4:12.72 in the 1600. Also posted 8:52.62 for 3200 gold and clocked 1:55.24 to win the 800.
Jeremiah Faison, Eastern Wayne (North Carolina): Won the 110m hurdles in 13.45 at the NCHSAA 4A East Regional while also competing in the high jump, clearing 6-0 for sixth place.
Alijah Monroe, West Cabarrus (North Carolina): Clocked 10.32 to win the 100 at the NCHSAA 7A Central-West Super Regional, then added a third-place finish in the 200 with a time of 21.09.
Cameron Tucker, Jay M Robinson (North Carolina): Triple gold medalist at the NCHSAA 5A West Regional, running 45.93 in the 400, 20.95 in the 200, and 10.51 in the 100. His 400 time led all North Carolina competitors this week.
Maddox Krotzer, South Garner (North Carolina): Cleared 7-3 to win high jump at the NCHSAA 7A East Regional, the top mark among juniors in the state this season.
