  • Charminique Hackney (Cary) continued her meteoric rise, racing to a US #1 time of 6.99 in the 55 Dash, which is also NC #6 all-time.

  • Jamaree Murray (Southeast Raleigh) ran 34.50 in the 300, NC #7 all-time and US #8 this season.

  • Jahmaal Daniel (Terry Sanford) improved to 6.35 in the 55 Dash, which is US #2 this season.

  • Layla White (Cary) took over the state lead in the 300 by clocking 39.86, US #6 this season and NC #7 all-time.

  • Isaiah Moore (Cummings) posted two season-bests: his 7.28 in the 55 Hurdles is tied for US #1 and moves him into NC #7 all-time, while his 23' 11.5" long jump is US #3 and NC #8 all-time.

  • Alycia Springs (Mallard Creek) posted a 44' 3.25" shot put mark, upping her state lead and moving to NC #5 all-time as well as US #6 this season.

  • Marcus Krah (Hillside) became the state leader in the triple jump, going 47' 3.25 for US #8 this season.

  • Sydney Murphy (Apex) jumped 18' 10", which is US #7 and NC #12 all-time.

  • Mateius Brown (Western Harnett) took over the state shot put lead with a PR of 54' 9.25".

  • Jacklyn Howell (Southeast Raleigh) improved on her state-leading time in the 55 Hurdles.  Her 8.12 is US #5 and NC #14 all-time.

  • Patrick Sheehan (Lake Norman) emerged from an exciting battle in the 3200 with a state-leading time of 9:40.13.

  • Cary's girls edged into the state lead in the 4x800, running 9:49.35.

  • Knightdale's boys, already state leaders and US #2, improved their season best to 3:21.74.
