Western Harnett is home to some of the top athletes in the state. They have had a outstanding year with over 5 state champions and a few men's and women's conference championships also 2001 Women Regional Runner Up Championship and 2010 Men's Mideast Regional Runner Up Championship and 2011 Indoor State Runner up 4x4 team!
