About Me

Have been a runner and fan of Track and Field/XC most of my life, I really began to undertand the sport of running, once I transferred from Junior College to a University. At my University, the Head XC Coach and Distance Track Coach used a modified University of Oregon system. While pursuing a ED in Sports, Dr Everrett Phillips, was a student of Bill Dillenger and Bill Bowerman and knew Steve Prefontaine personally.

After graduating from College, I used the same system for my own running pursuits. After a successful running career, I retired from competitive running, and began Coaching. The system I use is very similar to what I used in College amd what is used at the University of Oregon.

Over the years, other clubs and one univesity has contacted me on the methods used. So on ocassion I share part of the "Fredonia system". Which is a off shoot of the Oregon System.
