RACE SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENT (Sept 3, 2011)
Collegiate Entries: Guilford College, UNC Greensboro, Winston-Salem State University, Livingston College, Newberry College, Ferrum College, Salem College, Tusculum College, Chowan University.
High School: Bishop McGuinness, Durham School of the Arts, Elkin HS, NW Guilford, Ronald Reagan, South Stokes, Southern Alamance HS.
7:30 am - Race Day Registration Opens. 8:30 am - Varsity Boy's 5K, 900am Varsity Girl's 5k. 9:45 am - Men's Collegiate/open 5K. 10:15 am - Women's Collegiate/open 5K. 11:00 am - Middle School 3k (boys & girls together) No awards for 3k race, but each finisher gets a Guilford Cross Country t-shirt for $10 entry fee. Course open for preview from 4-7pm on Friday. Room reservations at the Clarion Hotel (336-299-7650. Team & Individual Awards. Awards to top 7 in HS race and t-shirts to winning teams. Entry fees: $10.00 per athlete $120.00 max per school. Open Race $20/runner. Race day registration add $5/runner. Checks payable to Guilford College. Register by sending roster by email to casonw@guilford.edu BRING entry fee on race day! Start and finish located on the grass practice fields off of Guilford College Rd. Course is a challenging, 99% grass course.
