Meet Information
1. The meet is now officially called the "Wendell Park Early Bird Invitational." Cartoony logo is forthcoming.
2. I'm trying to get a course map put together to send to everyone. Its taking a while because we've had to alter the course slightly and are in the process of getting it certified by USA Track and Field. I'll get the new map to everyone as soon as I can. The course is unofficially 5020 meters.
3. Due to concerns over the heat, I believe that we'll have to run earlier than planned and with a slightly shorter turnaround. The new schedule will likely be as follows:
Men's Varsity- 8:00
Women's Varsity- 8:40
Men's JV- 9:20
Women's JV- 10:00
A brief coaches meeting will likely be around 7:15 to 7:30. I'm not a fan of lining people for the next race if someone's still out there running and I also know that this will put more pressure on everyone to get there on time, but I feel that this will be necessary to avoid the heat of the day.
