Tryon Under the Lights XC Relays 2026

We invite you to attend the 2nd Annual Tryon Twilight Cross Country Relay.

The course will again traverse a flat 1500M loop of grass and horse tack with exchange zones taking place within the main equestrian arena under the Jumbotron and lights.

Parents and spectators will be able to relax and dine while watching athletes in a theater  style atmosphere.

What:  Tryon Twilight XC Relay

Where: Tryon International Equestrian Center

When: Friday Night August 14, 2026

7:30pm JV Boys   2 x 1500     Teams of 2

7:50pm. JV Girls    2 x 1500     Teams of 2

8:15pm.  Varsity Boys  4 x 1500    Teams of 2

8:45pm.  Varsity Girls  4 x 1500     Teams of 2

9:15pm.  Open Race (mixed) 2 x 1500. Teams of 2

Format: 

JV teams will consist of 2 Athletes running 1500m each once. 3K total

Varsity teams will consist of 2 athletes running 1500 each twice 6K total

You can enter as many teams as you want.

Awards to top JV Boys/Girls Team and top 3 Varsity Boy/Girls Teams

Entries: teams of 20 or less $75 per gender. Teams of greater than 20 will be $100 per gender

Restaurants, concessions, team take out food, restrooms and team camp set up available.
