Meet Information
Hugh M. Cummings High School would like to invite all high schools and individuals eligible to compete for their high school to the Cummings High School Invitational on March 28, 2026. Preliminaries will be run in the 100 meters dash, 100 meters hurdles and 110 meters hurdles. All other running events will be timed finals. Participants in the long jump, triple jump, shot put and discus will be awarded 4 attempts. Teams may enter 3 athletes in each individual event and 1 relay team. The pole vault will not be contested. The timing and live results will be provided by Durham Striders Timing. 1st and 2nd place medals. 1st and 2nd place team awards. The gates will open for teams at 8:00 am with the coaches meeting starting at 9:00. The girls and boys long jump followed by the triple jump will begin at 9:30. The boys shot put followed by girls and girls discus followed by boys will begin at 9:30. The girls high jump followed by boys will begin at 9:30. The running preliminaries will begin at 10:30. Once the preliminaries are concluded, the remainder of the running events beginning with the 4 x 800 relays will proceed on a rolling schedule. The girls will be followed by the boys. Entry fee is $175.00 for both teams and $90.00 for a single gender. Spectator fee is $10.00 for those over 12 years old. Unattached athletes fee is $20.00.
