Meet Information
This meet has been canceled due to weather.
Cummings, Eastern Alamance and Southeast Alamance are each hosting two polar bear indoor track meets this season in order to give as many athletes as possible the opportunity to compete and to improve and to qualify for the state finals. At the same time, we want to keep meets manageable -- no one wants to compete in a meet which seems to last forever. This is a difficult task because we do not know how many entries each school intends to make. We will invite all schools requesting entry until we reach 300 athletes. At that point, we will no longer allow more schools to enter unless they have fewer than 10 athletes or we have some cancelations. Obviously, we can include many schools with a small number of entries. Please do not request to enter a meet unless you intend to participate. Make sure you indicate all meets in which you would like to participate when you ask to be invited. We have meets scheduled for

Southeast is at 3400 S NC Hwy 119 Haw River
The 119 exit on Interstate 40 will take you to either school. You go South 119 to Southeast and Southeast is on the left side of 119 S. You go North 119 to Eastern -- turn left at Mebane Rogers Rd. Cummings is at 2200 N Mebane St in Burlington.
We do realize that sometimes weather or other circumstances will make it impossible for a school to participate. We will always look at the weather report and try to avoid cold conditions and/or rain. We plan to decide the Sunday before the meet whether or not we will reschedule because of weather. If at any time you decide you cannot come after committing, please let us know immediately.
Registration will be on ncmilesplit and will be due by noon the day before the meet. Please contact J.J. Knox at kj_harold@bellsouth.net ASAP if you would like to participate and he will "invite" your school.
Coaches from participating schools will be asked to officiate field events while we time running events.
Athletes not entered online will be allowed to run but will not be included in the official results unless they qualify for the state finals. Registration closes at noon the day before the meet. The running events in the meets will begin at 4:30 but we would like to start field events as soon after 4:00 as possible. No charge for participation.
