Guilford County Cross Country Championships

high school

9th-12th grade only

select division:

4A, 3A, 2A, 1A, Private School No Clubs, No unattached

Middle School

5th-8th grade only

teams and unattached

$30.00 per team entry fee 

Entry Fee for high school teams is $75.00. The Greensboro Pacesetters Track Club is paying for the other expenses of the meet.

Time schedule I asked some coaches about and they liked it.

5:15 PM  Boys 

5:45 PM Girls 

6:10 PM middle school boys and girls
 
1.  I will send another email out about the help we need to put on the event.
* Help with parking from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
* Take down course after meet
* Clean up sections of the park
*  Awards
 
2.  Big, we did not get a lot of support for the Porta John sponsors.  Attached is how we will be doing ticket sales for the XC Champs on the HONOR system.  We need you to really get a few key parents on your team to get your spectators to do this before they come to the park.  Below is a link, honor system is to pay $8 x spectators online here before they come to to meet.  Easy, send the pdf file to everyone you know or post it on your team page. 
    Get parents to promote this among the team as the HONOR way to do this.  They can even pay more if they like.  System is Paypal based.  Let me know if you have any questions.
 
3.  Bring entry fee with you.  $75 for a high school team and $60 for a middle school team. 
4.  There are a couple of home school athletes who will compete unattached.

1.  Above is the link for parents and spectators.  We are doing an Honor Ticket system for the meet.  Please forward to anyone you know who is coming.

2.  I want to make sure any parent or relative that wants to come and watch their athlete run does not worry about whether they have the budget to watch.  It is an Honor system and if someone can not afford it, they do not need to pay.  If some of your parents and friends want to purchase a few extra tickets for ones who can not afford it, please do.  I saw some crazy parking and entry fees at meets this year.  We did not want to go up in price until we have to.
