Sanctioning: all meet results are valid and accepted by the NCHSAA for qualifying and seeding; sanctioning is not required by the NCHSAA for high school meets involving only NC high school teams. All out-of-state athletes will compete unattached.
When registering, manually input your 2024 XC Season Best, not a 3200m time. You can update any time during the season until the entry deadline. Results/meet will be on the Indoor season calendar for use for Indoor TF seeding and qualifying.

Awards: custom medals to Top-10 finishers in each division.
Morning / Afternoon races - Race 3200m at the same time of day as the upcoming Foot Locker South regional and Nike Southeast regional races. Convenient location to Raleigh/Triangle area and Eastern NC.
Seeding: We will seed the High School races using 5k Cross Country times from the current season. MS races will be seeded using 3k Cross Country times from the current season. Please use your XC season best as your seed time. Meet Management reserves the right to seed athletes without times at those distances in the most appropriate sections based on past performance.
High School and Middle School divisions. Divisions will race separately. The High School division is for NC school teams only and unattached athletes, no club teams or non-NC school teams. Out-of-state athletes must compete unattached. School teams, club teams, and unattached athletes will be accepted in the Middle School division.
Entry Fee: $20 per entry. Online payments accepted; online payments must be made before meet day. For payment by check, make checks payable to: Cary Athletic Club. You may bring to the meet or mail to: Conrad Hall, 1500 N. Harrison Ave, Cary, NC 27513.
Spike Length Guidelines: 1/4-inch pyramid spikes or shorter only; those with 3/8-inch spikes will not be allowed to compete, so please check your spikes and change to 1/4-inch spikes ahead of time.
Schedule: races starting at 9:30am with Championship sections at 11:30am and 11:45am. Sections and Final Schedule TBA. Athletes should get hip numbers at least 30 minutes before scheduled race time and report to the starting line area at least 10 minutes before race time.

Event Parking: please use the lower parking lot off of SAS Research Dr and Charger Lane. Turn onto Research Dr from N. Harrison Ave and take the second right onto Charger Lane. Overflow parking is in the main school parking lot off of N. Harrison Ave at Cary Parkway. ADA parking is located between the track and the tennis courts in the lower parking area off of Research Drive and Charger Lane.
Overflow Parking: please use the main school parking lot off of N. Harrison Ave, using the entrance at Cary Parkway. Overflow parking is located on the grass field immediately to the right when entering from Cary Parkway.
Spike Check: 1/4" spikes maximum. Athletes with 3/8" spikes may not compete; please have your athletes check and change spike length ahead of time. All athletes must have their spikes checked at the tent on the infield prior to competing.
Hip Numbers / Check-in: Athlete check-in, hip numbers, and spike check will be at the tent through the main track gate near the throwing sectors.
Team Tent Locations: Teams may set up anywhere outside of the fence either at track level or on the hill above, including the grassy areas to the left and right of the stadium bleachers; however, as our stadium seating is limited, please reserve the stadium bleachers for parents and other spectators.
Spectator Seating: Spectators may sit in the grandstand or on their own chairs around the track on the outside of the fence. We have lots of lawn seating around the "bowl" / hillside overlooking the track. No spectators will be allowed on the track or on the infield.
Warm-up Area: Prior to their events, athletes may use the track and infield for warm-ups. Athletes who are warming up should avoid active venues and should not enter the finish line area where the officials and timing crew will be set up.
Restrooms: Limited restrooms are available in the Field House by the track and larger restrooms are available up in the main gym lobby. Additional restrooms for athletes and coaches are available in the field house between Fields 1 & 2 back behind the track.
Medical & Water: We will have an Athletic Trainer on site for emergencies, basic first aid, water and ice. Please advise the host school of any special needs athletes may have. Please bring a med kit with your team in the event that your athletes require routine taping, etc. In addition to the water we will provide on the infield, we encourage each team to bring a water cooler for their team area.
